Beautiful! It makes me feel as though I'm wandering the moors in England and looking at the heather. I know, I know...you painted lavendar, but it is similar to heather in sight and the moors are so darkly romantic...

Thank you, they have a very beautiful place. We went on Saturday to the Festival and had a great time. It also reminds me of heather. I would like to plant both of them. Joyce(owner)gave a lecture about the plants and growing. I think I will wait til next year to plant, since it has been so hot.

I haven't been able to successfully grow lavendar, but we've got heather in our front garden walk. Just make sure you get the perennial kind, since 2 plants we planted last year, to replace other plants that didnt' make it, were, unknowingly, annuals, and now we have to replace them once this drought is over.
